Bettina May and Go Go Amy visit Boudoir Louisville

If the Pretty Things Peepshow ever pulls in to your town, you better get your butt over there to see it!
Below are two very good reasons to do so. Bettina May and Go Go Amy have been touring the country with their old school burlesque show. They took time out of their busy schedules to visit the Boudoir Louisville studio before their Louisville show at Jim Porters Goodtime Emporium.

Pinup Model Go Go Amy

Go Go Amy came through Louisville while touring with The Pretty Things Peepshow, a Burlesque / Sideshow that she created. They just set out on their latest tour. If you see that they will be stopping in your neck of the woods, check them out. They put on one hell of a show.
Go Go Amy was a blast to shoot with. She took props I have been using for months and figured out new things to do with them. The pics turned out great.

Pinup Model Bettina May

Pinup Model Bettina May dropped by the Boudoir Louisville studio to snap some classic pinup shots the other day while on tour with the Pretty Things Peepshow.
Bettina May has been a pin-up model and burlesque performer since 2003, starting her career as a model for SuicideGirls.com, being a subject of the 2003 HBO RealSex TV show on Modern Pin-up, appearing in the "Shake Your Blood" Probot music video featuring Dave Grohl and Lemmy Kilmister and inclusion in the first SuicideGirls coffee table book and their art magazine. She has also been featured in the world's first burlesque magazine, Shimmy!
She has been keeping busy with the Pretty Things Peepshow, a Burlesque group she is a part of.

Girlie Girl Burlesque - Boudoir Louisville

Last week the girls from the Girlie Girl Burlesque group dropped by the Boudoir Louisville studio for a few PR shots. Talk about a fun group of gals to shoot with! So much personallity. If you are ever in the Lexington Kentucky area, look for one of their shows.

Behind the scenes at Boudoir Louisville with Bettina May and Go Go Amy

Friday afternoon, Bettina May and Go Go Amy dropped by the Boudoir Louisville studio for a pinup session. They were in town as part of their tour for The Pretty Things Peepshow, a traveling burlesque and sideshow, that Go Go Amy founded.
Rachel French from Venomous Designs loaned us a bunch of her great corsets for the shoot.
We snapped so many awesome pinup shots! They were a DREAM to work with. Every time I snapped a pic, they TOTALLY changed poses and facial expressions. This allowed me to get tons of great pics of both of them.
I will be posted a few sets from our shoot next week. For now, all you get are a few behind the scenes pics. Enjoy!

A few days ago, the girls from Girlie Girl Burlesque out of Lexington Kentucky dropped by the studio for a few promo shots.
I'll be adding a few blog posts with the snaps I got from this shoot. First up, Siobhan Atomica! How can you not love a girl with huge fans! Every time I went to snap a new shot, Siobhan Atomica popped into a new pose. She was so entertaining to shoot with.

Boudoir and Pinup photography has gotten SUPER popular in the past few years. Neisha wanted something special to give to her fella, so she booked an appointment with Boudoir Louisville. Scooter, our hair and makeup guy, made her look fabulous! Snapping classic pinups of her was a breeze!
